PRODUCTION MANAGER Full-time Job

As the Production Manager, you will organize and supervise manufacturing staff. This will include fostering a positive workspace and encouraging the team to develop new ideas for improvement.

Job Description

• Plan, schedule, and oversee activities of the production department
• Proactively resolve conflict and address personnel and disciplinary issues
• Deliver ongoing training and guidance to all team members
• Ensure regular production, quality, and safety targets are met
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, production, and engineering to meet standards and requirements 
• Develop and implement initiatives to improve processes using Lean concepts
• Ensure proper maintenance of tools and facility

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proven leadership abilities
• Welding skills are an asset
• People skills that are excellent for de-escalating situations and resolving issues
• Experience implementing Lean methodologies and the 5S pillars
