Senior Application Security Consultant Full-time Job

Job Description

• Work with a growing team of expert application security engineers.
• Participate in ongoing initiatives to create processes for appsec that can be replicated and iterated.
• Participate in software design review, vulnerability assessments, threat-modelling, and pentesting.
• Review external client application architecture, review results of penetration testing and coach external clients on the fixes.
• Assist with sales engineering.
• Automate all the things (without sacrificing security).
• Identify and protect OWASP Top 10 and CWE Top 25.
• Leverage best in class tools and standards for clients
• ASVS
• Secure the SDLC for modern, cloud-based applications built by a variety of customers, both startup and enterprise, with a variety of architectures (event-driven, microservices, monolith).
• Have a lot of fun working as part of a great team!

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Software industry, including understanding of modern architectures
• 2-3+ years in Application Security
• 1-2 years of software engineering
• Strong hands-on knowledge of REST APIs, OAuth/OpenID Connect, ASVS
• Bachelor degree/Diploma/equivalent experience in Computer Science
